I had a pretty good Halloween weekend. Something UNCHRISTABLE happened to me and Santina when we were walking home on Friday night. Let me start at the beginning though. On Friday after work, we went to a knitting/Halloween party at Barrett's new house in the South End. The party was really fun. Her house is amazing, and all of the food and drinks were awesome. Barrett was dressed as a skein of Cascade 220 and it rocked. We stayed at the party until about 11, and then it was time to venture back to our cozy Harvard Square neighborhood. We saw some pretty good costumes on the T, and then we stood by the Harvard Square AMC theatre and watch the line to the Rocky Horror Picture Show for a little bit. We ran into these drunk guys and gave them some bundt cake that we took from Barrett's house, and then we finally made our walk home, and GUESS WHAT HAPPENED?! WE GOT EGGED, THAT'S RIGHT, EGGED!!! Some baseball cap douchebags drove by us and threw eggs at us! They hit us too and got us all eggy! It was so lame! I kind of couldn't believe what happened at first. And there was a teeeeny little part of me that kind of thought that it ruled, but it was mostly lame. So then we just went home and tended to our eggy jackets and things. So something happened to me this weekend that had never happened to me before, so there's that at least.
The rest of the weekend was fine. I hung out in Tealuxe a lot and got a good start on the baby sweater for my manager. Santina was there too grading her papers for her (I have to emphasize this) high school SENIOR classes. We ended up making fun of a lot of them. I know it's horrible, but if you read these things, you'd be like WTF. That's not even English! I finished knitting that motherfucking pink sweater, and ended up having to go to Woolcott to buy another skein of yarn JUST to do the seaming. Annoying. I'm going to try to finish the seaming this week. All new House starts again this Tuesday! Thank you, Cardinals!
