Ravelry & Wishlists

I didn't think to mention this in my last post, but I FINALLY got my invite to ravelry.com last Friday!  My profile is here.  I don't know if you will be able to see it if you are not a member, but soon the site will be available to everyone!  I have spent a lot of time entering in my projects, yarn stash, etc.  I already have one friend! (Thanks, Danielle!)  I'm REALLY excited about exploring the site more and seeing other projects that people are working on.  Whenever I see things that others are making, it just makes me want to knit more and more!

I have also started my Money Saving One Year Plan, and it is proving to be a lit-tle harder than I thought.  I am glad that I am starting to keep track of what I am spending, though, because I felt like my money was starting to disappear! Like the bees!  I have a list of knitting things and music that I want, but I am going to try to only buy them when I have money "leftover" each month (aside from the overly large amount I am supposed to be putting into my savings account).  If I am good in a month, I can reward myself with one of these things.  I have a little running list, and I am going to keep track of these things here, so I don't forget and blow my money on stupid crap.

Knitting things that I want:
Sock Blockers
A binder and page protectors to keep my internet/loose leaf patterns in
A large basket to keep in my living room to hold all of my wip's
A subscription to Interweave Knits
Stitch 'n Bitch 2008 page-a-day calendar
Tom Bihn Swift Knitting Bag in gray/purple (possible b-day gift from my mom)

I need an interweave subscription too. I asked for this last year, and then I was going to just get it myself and then I didn't. I'm going to go post it on my blog now.
