I had an awesome long weekend in Knoxville, Tennessee with Justin and his family. We took a trip into the Smokey Mountains one of the days and took a walking/driving tour of Cades Cove. There were a lot of neat old cabins and churches to see as well as some beautiful landscape. Justin's Mom & Dad were so sweet and generous. They took us all around to see the new area where they will build a new house, around the area where they live now, around the crazy/weird Dollywood part of the area, and of course the Smokey Mountains. They also kept us well fed with plenty of food and beer. Oh, and they let us go in their hot tub.
Another awesome thing about this trip was that Emily & Arthur were there too! I got to spend a lot of time with Emily, which was really nice. We are cousins, but we haven't really spent that much time together in the past 10 or so years. I hope Justin & Arthur got some good time to catch up as well. It was neat for all of us to spend time together, and I hope we get to do it again soon.
There was also a ton of this. Which was my favorite part. The rest of my pictures from this trip can be found here. I had never been to the Volunteer State, and I had a wonderful visit. It is a beautiful part of the country, and I am anxious to visit again when the weather is warm and sunny.
I loved all your 'bahn' photos. Tennessee looks very rural. Why no hot tub pics?
