Yay, Carolyn is finished! This sweater was a breeze to knit. It was pretty time consuming, but it felt like it went by really quickly. I think the stripes helped a lot. For the most part I am pretty happy with the way this sweater came out. The sleeves fit perfectly, and I think I did an awesome job with the seaming and finishing.
I love the colors I picked. My mom helped me pick them out and saved me from choosing the bright magenta instead of the pale pink. I probably won't be able to wear this a lot as the weather gets warmer, but it's kind of just as well.
Because as you can see, the torso is very snug on my winter body. Maybe come fall it will fit a bit better. If I knit this sweater for myself again, I would have done the sleeves the same size, but I probably would have gone up a size for the torso. This was a really fun project, though, and I had a lot of fun making it! I thought I would also start summing up the FO posts with the details of the project:

YEAH, I agree...Damn cold winters...look what they do to us females!!!
It will be fitting great before you know it and, if it is a warmer day you can always leave it unbuttoned (then no one will ever notice the winterness).
:o)

Very nice. I can't believe how much you're getting done.
