I recently completed my third and final Pay It Forward gift and sent it off a couple of weeks ago. I haven't heard from the recipient since she signed up, so I'm assuming it's safe to post about it here now. I wanted to make a pair of mittens at a quick gauge, but with an interesting stitch pattern. I choose Staghorn Mittens by ULLA (available in English on Ravelry).
I wasn't really that pleased with the way these came out. They are a bit small for my hand, and the yarn looks a little sloppy where I changed needles. I do really like staghorn cables, and they look pretty good on these mittens. I really hope my recipient likes them. I had a really good time knitting and sending off these PIF gifts and I'm thinking I'll do another one next year!
