The second yarn I decided to work on for Tour de Fleece is a merino/silk blend in a golden color. I've never spun anything besides a few different kinds of wool, so I wanted to branch out a little bit. This stuff was really easy to spin!
Since the color of the roving is pretty much solid, I decided to do a traditional 3-ply. I love how just adding that 3rd ply really makes a more consistent yarn. I didn't get much yardage out of this, but I think it will make a really cool scarf or hat and mitts.
Fiber: Louet 80/20 Merino/Silk Spinning Fiber, colorway Golden Hibiscus
Yardage: ~350
